At four months and first baby, you shouldn't be "showing" a tummy yet. Furthermore, you'll probably be past the worst of the early months' sickness, weakness and just plain lousy feelings that growing a placenta can bring on. So you'll be up for a great wedding.
Skip the maternity clothes until every other option is used up...or else you'll be in them for what seems like forever. And that gets old. I so wanted everyone to know I was pregnant I practically jumped at the chance to buy and wear maternity "fashions" but was glad I waited.
More more piece of advice, wear comfortable shoes, get plenty of rest the night before and sit down whenever you feel tired. And have fun!

You shouldn't need a maternity dress. Just order the dress like a size bigger then usual so there's some extra material to work with and have it altered as close to the wedding as possible, with some extra room, just in case. Chances are you will have a little tummy, like bloated and your boobs will grow some by then too. If it is an empire waist or whatever, it may fir you fine in your regular size. I would NOT spend the $ on a maternity dress, no way especially when they will need to alter it for your height anyway. I was 8 months prego and HUGE in my BF wedding and just ordered a larger dress and had it altered and it looked great!

I am also 5'4 and average build and I was in maturnity clothes by 3 months! I would get a dress in either a large size that can later be taken in if necessary or a maternity dress, so you know you will be comfy. Davids Bridal has them.

if you are smaller waisted, then you could be showing by that point. When you go to order the dress the best thing is to get it too big and then a few weeks before if you need to you can have it taken in. i am kind of in the same boat, luckily though the wedding is next month and i don't think we got pregnant this month so even if i get pregnant in a few weeks, i will only be a month along....good luck!

Chances are you won't really be showing until you're 6 months pregnant.
You'll probably have a little tummy, but it won't obviously be pregnant. I WOULD look into a maternity dress, mainly so you don't feel pressured to fit into the dress.

at four months you probably wont need a maternity dress, but it is possible, ti varies with every pregnancy and every person, I suggest that you pick out one and one that's not and when that time gets closer get the one that you need!

Most first pregnancies you do not show right away. I would ge the dress one size bigger, you can always make a last minute alterations.
