People who read a lot end up knowing a lot.
I can't see anything wrong with that!
A lot of people who are successful because of intensive reading habits tell the story of parents who tried to get them to stop reading and go run around outside. You hear these stories because the people who read all the time end up being successful in ways that their non-reading parents never dreamed of. Which isn't to say that I think there are people in your life who are telling you to quit reading. Maybe there are, maybe there aren't.
But the story of famous people who were told to get their noses out of books is so common that it's almost a cliche.
You go. Read all you want. It's a sign that you're headed for a head full of imaginative ideas and a unique perspective.

Heck no! Society wishes they had more people like you. You are using your time in a way that can be respected....Just remember to stay active while you're reading. It's summer, so get those legs moving, and rest your eyes for a bit! When you're tired, grab a good book and catch some zzzzzz.

I think it's only a problem if it interferes with other parts of your life - like if you're not getting enough sleep because you're up too late reading, or your work/schoolwork suffers, or you cut off contact with other people in order to spend all your time reading. There are plenty of worse things you could be doing! Just make sure to balance your reading time with other things like spending time with family and friends and fulfilling obligations you may have.

It's not a disorder. Reading is mind candy. It's good for the brain. Did you ever hear the saying? If you don't use it, you lose it. People who read are articulate. Your vocabulary is broadened. In short, people who read are mentally enriched and more intelligent than the average person. You just keep on reading and enjoy.

If it begins to displace things that you should be doing it can be as bad as crack or tv. Any activity that receives too much of your time can literally ruin your life; I don't know if you read enough that you're blowing off work or other commitments to keep reading, but if you are it's too much reading.

:) i would imagine it only being bad if you didn't do any form of exercise (assuming you are eating meals along with reading). my sister has been reading about a book a day, sometimes a book and a half. :o. so i understand the feeling :)

With that suggested, attempt bringing him over on your place and permit him carry out with your loved ones, possibly they're going to see that he's easy. i don't be attentive to how previous you're, yet you relatively need to be sure why your mothers and dads are so against him.
