Depends on how the router is set up. Dynamic addresses are automatic. If you need a static address, you will have to talk with the administrator, also if the router has security, your system will have to be added in or someone will need to give you the WEP code. As far as power adapters, look at your supply unit for its rating. Most for the past 5+ years can use 110-240V and 50-60 cycles. All you will need is a plug adapter.

"Dynamic address needed?" no. Different Power supply or International power adapter, yes.

Plug the Acer into the router and it should connect. You may need a valid user name AND password though.
