I think most of us were drawn into the emotion of the moment. Now on reflection I think her death was inevitable. Though at the time I did not think this was the case.
I still think she was murdered by the establishment as she was a liability. You only have to read the lastest book about her life to make you understand that this is the case. However, no one is ever going to admit to this and it will take forever to find out the truth about her death...... if ever.
Yes I cried along with Millions of others worldwide... her death was timely and fortuas for the Royal Family!
Edit
Chave 69 ....British troops do not kill wee babies deliberately it is all because of the situation which is awful but you can blame Bliar and Bush for what is happening. Both should be tried for war crimes and the deaths of UK and US service personnel.

No. I won't deny I was shocked in that it was totally unexpected.
I thought she was just another thick sponger frankly. I know that is not a popular view, but that is what I thought.
I also remember that at the time she was being slagged off in the British press on a daily basis.
I know some folks genuinely grieve for her,,,and I respect them...but I cannot buy into this false mass mourning that the media portray...it just isn't true!

No, but I was really surprised by how I felt. I usually do not read about celebrities or anyone else in the spotlight. It's something about allowing their privacy for me. But she was someone I could relate to. I did not go out of my way to read about her, but I still heard and saw things that moved me. When she died, I felt much more grief than I anticipated.

I remember the day really well. I was stripping and painting a nest of tables at the time. I don't think I cried, ut I got a real lump in my throat because the TV coverage was really emotional!

Yes and I still cry when they show footage of the event of that night.
Then again, I cried when Jonathan off Big Brother's grandmother died and I've never even heard of her.

I was like 10 or 11. I thought it was sad but I didn't cry. It did aggrivate me that the paparazzi killed her and no one ever tried to pass any sort of laws to keep them from doing something like that again.
(I was a smart 10 year old)
