What shade of red was it?

That's going to be your tell-tale sign.

Call you doctor, but don't go anywhere just yet. Chances are you're just spotting, and your doctor will want to see you ASAP tomorrow.

Put your feet up, drink some water, and just relax. Stressing about this is NOT going to do you or the baby any good.

I agree that you should go to the hospital, but I would not be too concerned yet. I went to the hospital with the same thing at 16 weeks pregnant... At first they thought it was Placenta Previa ( A condition where the placenta sits right over the opening to the cervix)... After doing an ultrasound and ruling that out, they said it was subchronic bleeding. Basically a blood clot... I bled for 5 weeks and then it stopped. There is a chance it could be something more serious. I hope they find everything is ok :)

Go to the Emergency Room immediately! You may not be having a miscarriage, but you need to see a doctor right away so you can be treated for your bleeding!

Usually this is what is called "old blood". Blood from when you would've normally started your period. As long as you're not bleeding heavy & not accompanied w/ menstrual like cramps than you should be ok. I would take it easy for a while & call your dr & see what he says. I'm sure everything will be fine. My friend had this symptom with both her pregnancies & bother her girls were fine.

dont worry it's probably nothing. it's very normal to spot during pregnancy. some women spot up until they give birth. it just depends on how much blood it is. as long as you're not actually peeing blood and its just very light when you wipe then you should be fine. if it starts to get heavy like when you have your period then you should see your doctor.

Whatever you do don't get overexcited and panic. Your baby feels everything you do.. it could be a multitude of reasons and 9 out 10 times it's normal, however you do need to go to the ER now. Never wait.

If you are worried about, talk to your doctor. It's probably nothing. Some spotting during pregnancy is normal. If it doesn't stop in a few days or gets heavier then go straight to your doc.

I knew someone who was bleeding because they were dehydrated, so take that into consideration. But in reality it could be a ton of things from a blood clot to your placenta detaching.. either way I would contact my doctor ASAP! *Good Luck and Smiles*

Light spotting is normal in early pregenancy, especially if it's your first time. Just call your OB and let him/her know what's going on to be on the safe side. Good luck & congrats!

call your ob/gyn - its not uncommon to spot - i spotted light pink blood during my 2nd pregnancy - hes now 5 - but call - sometimes its nothing, sometimes its an infection but communicating this with your dr. would be best. heavy bright red blood flow or clear fluid is what isnt good at all - but call ;)...now
