Until the Turkish Government takes responsibility for its actions there will always be friction between Turks and other people who love freedom.
Women in Turkey are routinely beaten by their husbands and the Turkish Courts are reticent to take action. Women are still considered property of their fathers or husbands. Sharia Law.
No one is perfect, but it is extremely doubtful that Turkey will
ever be admitted to the EU in light of its current political stance.
It is a beautiful country with a rich culture, but there will have to be a major shift towards religious freedom and human rights before Turkey can take her place among the most desirable
nations. Please pray for the people of Turkey, God knows they need it desperately.

One thing you should do is keep them away from their grandparents. I have it from personal experience that no one hates a Turkish person more than 70+ Armenian person.

Are we still resorting to the Genocides in the early 1900's. Ah well, our nationality in general doesn't get along with the Turkish either.
However, my nationality doesn't get along well either. There are only about 4 million of us left.

I think it is high time the Turks apologized to the Armenians for trying to wipe them out.
