if you don't have a fan shroud get one, it's good for at least 10 degree drop. also they make a product called water wetter that when added to the anti-freeze and water 50/50 mix will lower the temp 10 degrees, summit racing sells it.

Pull the thermostat and run the car, see if it is still running hot. If not switch your thermostat to a cooler setting 185 instead of 200

Check your lower radiator hose and see if its collapsing. My bird overheated a lot too. Make sure the belt on the water pump is making it turn counterclockwise.
