Ok i am a total sucker for INUYASHA a anime on adult swim one of japan's greatest anime of all time! only problem is i watch it 24/7, I write story's about it, I listen to the songs, I wrote to the creator Rumukio Takashi, heck i even wrote to the English actors how played inuyasha and miroku in the series ( The guy who plays miroku has a yahoo e-mail ^.^ ), I' am trying to figure out if i am a fan or am i obsessed?

I think you are like a top 20 fan. You're not obsessed because you don't wear Inuyasha clothes, if your friends don't want to talk about inuyasha you won't die. You know the little things that mean a lot. I'm surprised you know who those actors are. You can keep up with cartoon credits wow. I can never do it. Especially on Naruto. Only thing i know is that whoever does Naruto's voice is a girl.

It's an OBSSESSION. But it is a good obsession. It's better than being obsessed with drugs or beer. InuYasha is a great anime, I can't argue with that, but it isn't the best. Try watching other Anime to try to knock off the obsession and make you just a rabid fan. Try Bleach, Naruto, FullMetal Alchemist, or Blood+. I used to have an obsession with Naruto but now i'm just a fan now that I found better anime out there.

Well i would say that you are not obsessed but you have gone beyond fan. There are a lot of people who are dedicated to a show and go all out. There is nothing wrong with what you have done to keep in touch with the people in your show. I think if you start questioning yourself and what you think you are, I would suggest easing back a bit and take a break from your anime frenzy. If you take a break i think you will enjoy it more later and be a little more mature about the situation.

Being a fan can sometimes mean being obsessed. in your case you are definitely obsessed you need to find something better to do with your life, dont forget that anime are made for entertainment not to take over your life. The makers and actors would't be happy to know their work is dectating your life. Think about it, Inuyasha is cool though I tune in when i can!

You are not obsessed. I can assure you that in time, you will grow less and less fond of INUYASHA. It has happen to me all the time. Its like a fad.
