Am I correct? And if not, why?
A) Rectangle: 4 cm and 7 cm. The answer I got was (4) (7)= 28 cm squared.
B) Parallelogram tilted to the left side. 8 m is the top base with 3m dotted line going straight down on the inside of the parallelogram. The answer I got was (8) (3) = 24 m squared.
C) Right Triangle: 10 ft. with base of 14 ft. This one I'm not sure about but this is my answer:
10 ft. squared + 14 ft. squared = ? squared.
100 + 196 = 296 ft. squared
Squared root symbol/ 296 [two squiggly lines on top each other] 17.2.5.
If any of these are wrong please let me know and how to get the correct answer.

Area of a triangle
=1/2*Base*Height
=1/2*10*14
=10*7
=70 Sq ft Ans

C) area of triangle = 1/2 base times perpendicular height

=70 ft^2

I'm assuming the right angle is between the 10 and the 14

The others look fine

A and B are right.

C.) If 10 ft. is the height and 14 ft. is the base,
AREA = 1/2(base x height)
area = 140/2
area = 70 sq.ft.

just remember the formulas.

The square footage of a right triangle with a height of 10ft dn base length of 14 ft would be 70sq ft.
(10ft*14ft)/2=70sq ft
I believe your 1st two answers to be correct.
A right triangle is just half of a square.

A) and B) are correct.

To figure out (C), imagine taking a 2nd copy of the right triangle, and laying it next to the first copy so that they form a rectangle. What's the area of the rectangle? Notice that the triangle's area is 1/2 of that.

the formula for a triangle is

(base x height) /2

so (10 x 14)/2 = 70

the other two look fine to me
