He's going to get made fun of if you name him Atreyu. Everybody knows The Never Ending Story! You might be able to get away with it as a middle name, though and I really love the idea of using it! Lanning Atreyu might work nicely. Good luck!

Kingston Trent. Picking a "unique" name can be more trouble than it's worth, if your child spends the majority of his 12 yrs in school & then his professional career getting people to pronounce Atreyu correctly. If you must go that route, use it as a middle name.

Atreyu is too fantasy like, you know from that one movie...I can't remember the name, but not to be mean but you have to consider this child trying to get a job one day. Lanning is good, but I like Kingston the most. Good luck!!!

Atreyu from the Never Ending Story? It is a good name for a story character, but I wouldn't name my child that.
Lanning or Kingston are good names. The middle names are better than the first names.

Out of those, I like Kingston or Lanning. Atreyu just reminds me of that horrible band. And can you imagine all the mispronunciation and misspellings poor little Atreyu would have to endure in his lifetime?

Kingston sounds the best out of all the choices.
Atreyu is cool because its unique.
How bout Kingston Atreyu or Atreyu Kingston?
