Well, here are a few of my normal clues:
When my buddy death starts looking anxiously at the host.
When the hosts just open the door and leave the room
When the beer runs out
when they start asking for contributions for the next beer run
when the fridge is empty
when I clog all the toilets in the house
When the dog starts talking to me
when the guy next to me starts trying to hit on me
when the police arrive
when I answer my she instead of the phone
when they ask if I need them to call me a cab
and finally
when the host yells "RELEASE THE HOUNDS!!!!!!"

Well this gaunt looking character turns up carrying a big scythe and wearing a hooded cassock about 6 sizes too big for him.
He sort of hangs around staring hard at you. You just know he's staring even though you cant see his eyes. Its a bit creepy really.
I know this because I saw him once. He asked if I was Phil and I pointed to Dave and said 'No, its him'. Never saw Dave again. Feel really bad for that but his girlfriend was going to dump him anyway.

I just look at the time on the clock and know it is time to leave for my appointment. Very Easy. Very Simple.

1).....When the Publican calls "Time, Gentlemen, Please" or "Last drinks are now being served".
2).....I have finally run out of Money, Credit or Friends.
3).....I wake up in the gutter after having been thrown out of the establishment in question by the ever polite and helpful staff.
4).....All of the above.

when to leave a place...whenever i want to or when im told
when i need the ladies room...about every hour on the hour or when the baby presses down!
