The name you give your child can impact his or her future success in life.
Psychology Today published a study that surveyed over 500 Human Resource managers and over 150 college admissions counselors at competitive admission universities. The results showed that a person’s first name was a large factor in determining whether or not a person made it past the initial screening process for hiring or admission. People with odd or unusual names were more likely to be rejected while people with certain names – which Psychology Today termed “power names” – were more likely to pass the initial screening. Here are the top ten “power names” as rated by Psychology Today.

Abcde (pronounced ab-ce-dee) I know a lady who was learning English and decided to call her child this after the first 5 letters of the alphabet. It's a weird name but kinda has a ring to it..
