I am so sorry, go with what your doctor says you do not say why they think you miscarried, they can help some people, sometimes if you have a 'weak cervix they can put a stitch in it to help you hold on to the pregnancy, lol.

Yes, do get tests done. I have a friend who, with a very simple treatment, was able to stop her own series of miscarriages. I won't get into the whole story but it was amazing what we all learned.

There is a website you can visit with a forum specifically on fertility. The site and forum are from a magazine, called Today's Parent, based in Canada but even if you aren't Canadian, the discussions are relevant. The women in "Fertility" are either where you are, or who have been where you are and are helping others.

When my friend was in trouble, she went there and what she learned ended up being what helped her. No one doctor knows everything...but...you get a bunch of women together who have "been there done that" and the current information is phenomenal.

Armed with ideas, she went back to her doctor, who began testing for specific potential problem areas. Within the year she was pregnant with her first successful pregnancy. She never m/c again and now has 2 girls and one boy!

There have been many success stories on this forum so please go there and talk to the other ladies.

Please don't give up. There's much to try .

It depends on the kinds of tests that were done. Depending on how far along you are when miscarrying, it could be low progesterone levels, thin uterine lining, an incompetent cervix, or a host of other things. It can also just be really bad luck--which would be the worst thing, since you cannot change luck.

I would suggest you get some genetic counseling, see if there is anything that would cause something like that to be happening. If it all possible, you might consider IVF with genetic diagnosis to get a good sperm/embryo combination.

I had 3 miscarriages myself, so I understand something of what you are feeling. And I'm really sorry for your loss.

But if the progesterone angle hasn't been examined, be sure to go that way.

I've had 6 miscarriages. I'm sorry you are going through this. Maybe your body needs a break in between. If you lost a baby in March and had a miscarriage today, that's less than 4 months. My advice, don't try to get preg until next year. Give your body a break.

If you really really want a baby, then don't give up. I would get more test done and find out what is going on. Give it one more try before you give up.
You can always look into adoption. There are so many kids out there that need a home. I know it may be hard to get a baby but Toddlers and grade school kids are also special and need a loving home.
Good luck.

If you want a baby DO NOT GIVE UP!

Remember you have options like adoption or surrogacy, but if you want a baby naturally I can tell you 4 miscarriages in an otherwise healthy woman is not normal. I would recommend seeing fertility specialist, find out what is going on.

I do wish you good luck on this, and I hope you come back soon with pregnancy & newborn questions!

don't give up sweety, and get other tests done by other doctors. Don't take just one doctors opinion because sometimes they may not even see the underlaying problem. Nothing against the doctor but we are not all perfect! If it turns out your not able to have children then I would suggest adoption or insemination,,,not sure If that's the right word or not, but you know what I mean.

Good luck!

If you want a baby i would keep triing. If the doctors cant find a reason why you can't carry a baby full term then one day you will. Lots of women have repeaded miscarriages but had a baby adventualy. good luck.

Talk to your doctor and get some testing done, it may not be your fault. Even in you can't get pregnant there are so many other ways to have a baby ie. adoption..getting a surrogate...

Good Luck Hun!

You shouldnt give up. But definitely go to the doctor and demand the necessary tests. It could take some time, but at least you'll kno what the problem is and you'll be able to fix it. Good luck!!
