The best exercise for this is to get a sturdy chair and do step ups on it. Place one leg on the seat and using only that leg step up as though you were doing stairs. Do this for thirty minutes every night and you will be more explosive when you jump, as well as when you run. Do it with your arms extended upwards at first, then in a month hold dumbbells on each side. That will do the trick.

Just go to a tall doorway or anything that you can just touch and everyday jump up and down straight about a 100 times and it will actually help

Hi
one good excersize is pull ups.
Another is high pull up bars tht you have to jump and get one so you can get good hops

yes my gym teacher always said to stand on a chair and hang on the rim for a minute and then keep doing... after a while start to jump

Just start to jump and work on your calfs alot. Also, if you run and weigh less, that means when you jump your not jumping with so much weight on you.

Jump squats, Squats, lunges, deadlifts, and calf raises. Also if you are over weight any reduction in your weight will allow you to jump higher.

get those ankle weights and run and jump with them every day, it makes your legs feel lighter and also builds leg muscles
