I have a 97 ford taurus and am looking into getting a bigger muffler tip. Do I have to weld it on or does it just attach somehow that I could do on my own?

usually you can buy them with 2 or 3 set screws where they will tighten to your exhaust pipe to hold it on.

most of them just have a set screw that holds them on,you can weld them on ,but usually the set screw holds them on really good, and there easy to install usually just a screw driver is all that's needed for installation, good luck with it.
