They definately used to have an effect on some aspects of my behavior and choices, mostly in order to avoid feeling guilty, so in that sense in a large part it defined who I was and who I though I should or shouldn't be. Whether or not the choices made me happy was a whole other issue. So it hindered my growth. But it never completely defined me because much of my personality had little to do with religious beliefs. People are complicated.

They definately used to have an result on some aspects of my habit and options, as a rule so as to dodge feeling accountable, so in that sense in a great section it defined who i became and who I inspite of the incontrovertible fact that I could desire to or should not be. no rely if or no longer the recommendations made me satisfied became an entire different project. So it hindered my boost. in spite of the undeniable fact that it by no ability thoroughly defined me because of the fact lots of my character had little to do with non secular ideals. each and every physique is complicated.

Agnostic's do not believe in any religious or scientific stuff. If you are truly an agnostic basing your life on the facts and maintaining everything else in dynamic tension it would definitely define you.
Belief always defines who you are. If you do not practice what you proclaim then your hypocrisy defines you.

You cannot disassociate yourself from your religious beliefs. They define you to a certain extent. They do not affect my interests/ hobbies, but there are things you do for god's sake and if I did not believe in God, I would most likely not do them, like giving money to charity for example.

For the extremist, it does, but to those who have a life that includes an array of thoughts it would not.
My faith or lack thereof doesn't define me and I have a degree in religion and can marry people, etc..

atheism and agnosticism are lack of beliefs (technically).
i myself am atheist and yes i believe it defines who i am....a free thinker. i dont look up to an imaginary friend on how to live my life and i dont read a book to figure out whats wrong and whats right.
