hi dear Kimberly, well I am good at both actually. I was the one everybody picked on from the first until 7th grade. Some of the first I learned was to not show my feelings ever.
I also learned to keep an emotion-less face no matter what was happen at the time. that I have kept to this day. That said, ha ha ha, I learned to open up the day I got drunk for the first time, poor poor bartender. Lucky them and more lucky me, after a couple of sentimental outburst in the pub you don`t want to do that so much more, so I stopped to drink and a few months later I was found by an American woman. I do not hide my feelings to her or anyone else this days, and I am happy. But if I had to put up a poker-face, ha ha ha I could. This was the short version of course, hope it shows how it was back in the `60s- `70s. Have a beautiful life, peace and love from Norway

A mix of the happiness of others and the overall happiness even if it requires that I'm somehow "less" happy. I just feel the need to make everyone happy even if it destroys me. I have always been that way. It comes from lack of self esteem and wanting everyone to like me. If everyone is happy it is okay if I suffer a tiny bit. It's a sickness that I am trying to get over. I thank God I have a husband that does not take advantage of that and is trying to break me of that cycle. So far with his help I am doing a lot better and I trying to do things to make myself happy which is really hard and kind of painful.

Yes and no...
My "true" feelings are that I want to ravish you romantically (and other ways)...
But instead I will simply answer this question by saying...
No...I am totally sincere in all my behaviors, and what you see is what you get...
Which presents a conundrum...In this answer I "was" AND "was not" good at hiding my true feelings...
(actually I'm terribly inept at hiding my true feelings...and thus...I don't really try too hard to hide them...but despite that fact, I still have plenty of lovers and friends...friends, anyway...)

I think I wear my heart on my sleeve. So I've been told. I open up to people I should not sometimes, and things get used against me later, which, I end up getting my heart broken. I am open about being in love... as I love Brian tremendously, but I don't know if it'll work out. I'd love to meet him though. I'm scared he won't like me, but I will show him my true self when we meet. I pray it'll be soon. I do try to show my true feelings, and I'm realizing I'm getting more and more reserved, and mature in my emotions/feelings as I get older/age.

Not at all. I'm also very shy and introverted. But I seem to be unable to control my facial expressions and other signs of emotion. If I'm mad my brow furrows without me knowing it, if I'm anxious I fidget and sweat and look around like a madwoman. My friends say they can always tell what I'm thinking, and they're pretty much always right. It kind of sucks sometimes, but I also don't like lying... and that's exactly what a poker-face is, to me... if it's intentional, anyway... if you can't help it then I understand

Yes I'm very good at hiding my true feelings...probably because I'm very shy and introverted. It's pretty hard to get me to open up, even around my friends. Not something I'm proud of exactly -_-, but I've been trying to improve on this problem over the years.

Fortunately, I can NOT hide my true feelings from ME! Knowing that, I deal with my feelings and try to be honest in all social interaction. It is VERY liberating and I don't have to carry around a sack of crap.
That sack can not only get heavy, but it stinks!!

five star except when it comes to impatience, frustration, anger, and guilt but these feelings vanish as fast as they come.im a thrill-seeker. i always put on a neutral expression but people usually see me as if im going to kill them in a moment. been getting these comments since i was around 14-16, now im 21. i dont show other emotions quite enough and i dont like being attached to people except my family. i dont even kiss or hug my parents or siblings only my 1-yr old baby sister. i may not be emotional but im natural

I was at my mom's funeral and didn't shed a tear. Everyone else did. I haven't shed a tear since then. I can watch the sadess film or hear a really sad song and not shed a tear!

I can hide my feelings unless they are too strong. Its better to show them, because if you dont it can come across as being fake or being heartless.
