Whether Hollywood or educators write history--both versions of history are skewed. The bias in Hollywood is toward entertainment and hidden political agendas.

The bias in education is multi-level. First, the history of western civilization has, for at least 1500 years, been the tracking of civilizations that centered around the Near East(Levant) and Mediterranean worlds. History was also presented as the set-up for the advent of Christianity because of the catholic or universalist church's thumb on education.

All of Northern European civilization, religion, and history Has been expunged/destroyed. This history tells secrets and is not included in the presentation of students today for centuries.

At present, the teaching of history is controlled by globalists headquartered in Switzerland with indoctrination in mind. They intend to bend your mind to their thinking through the revision of history. Fight it. Don't let them control what you think. Research your own topics and make your own decisions. Never let any one dictate ideas and history to you not even in school.

Right now, the US Department of Education, the current Administration and US universities are running point for point these globalist doctrines. Look it up on your search engine--you'll find the answers about present day education and the presentation of history.

Interesting question. It should be up to the historians to record history. As it stands however, we are constantly bombarded with the history of popular memory, thanks widely to instant news media and hollywood writers.
A classic example is the JFK assassination. Most will tell you that they remember the event. Chances are, they do not remember it nearly as much as they remember the Zegruter film clip. Then, couple that with Oliver Stone's movie and suddenly EVERYONE "remembers" the JFK assassination. This phenominon offers up an interesting problem. While the Zegruter film pretty much speaks for itself, it IS only one perspective. Oliver Stone has created a fact based fiction that most people take as pure fact and then there is the news media... They are actually in the business of making money, far more so than they are in reporting facts. They must package their product for a targetted viewing audience and they must edit the event to fill a limited time slot. These facts (marketting and time slots) greatly determine what IS "news" and from which side of the story they present "the facts."
Finally *sigh*, you have the historians. People like Walter Boyne, Stephen Ambrose and David McCollough. Pray that they are not influenced by inapproprate outside sources. One of my favorites is John Keegan. Teaches (or taught) at Sand Hurst Military Academy. As a teacher, it's all you can do to stay awake in his class. But get him in a pub after class an suddenly he is the most fascinating story teller you've ever had the privilege of hearing! And hysterically funny!!!!

Historians write history, using primary sources and as much information about a given time period or subject as they can find. Other historians write about the same or similar subjects and may come to differing conclusions, based upon newer or before unknown sources. These are resolved and a truer picture of history emerges. Other historians read the research, but otherwise the books generally gather dust on shelves.

Then, Hollywood gets a hold of it, twists and distorts it to fit an agenda, cuts it down to 2 hours and the public believes every bit of the resulting bilge.

it's a blur. History is fuzzy. it leaves one wondering who to believe. History books in classrooms have changed over the years, mainly the last 15 years or so, I believe this to be due to PC. Hollywood has an influence but hopefully it's not relied on as fact.

they are both manipulated by the same forces
check how many young people come with positive thought about the New World order ,this comes from somwhere it was implanted
Check who owns Hollywood ,the TV,Radio and news papers both in the USA and in Europe
they all boil down to a few Families of the same elite level in the Mason movement

And History is their Diary

the truth is another story
Always has been.
