Kobe is by far the best player in the NBA, he will not get traded, he really does not want to get traded, he just want better players on the team , so he vented a little. Kobe haters are everywhere, I glad you have the sense to just ignore them.

There are a lot of reasons why Kobe is talked about so much. There is simply so much to say about him.

- As for his problem with Shaq, I think that was more of a personality conflict. It was kind of inevitable from the start that they wouldn't be the best of friends. D-Wade is just the type of person who can get along with anyone

- He used to be somewhat ballhoggy, but not anymore. 5.4 assists IS passing. If Kwame Brown did not fumble 2 perfect passes out of bounds every game, Kobe would average 7.4 assists at no expense to his shooting. I can think of a million games where Kobe was quiet in the first half, and the Lakers were losng by 15 at halftime, and when Kobe scored 40 points in the second half, they ended up winning.

- His scandal in Colorado made people who hated him before hate him more, and the people who liked him before just came to his defense. Not many people really researched the case. There are very few people who liked him before but stopped liking him after Colorado. It bugs me when people declare him a rapist without researching the trial and say that he should he beheaded/crucified or whatever. (FYI: Anyone who researches the case can tell that the prosecution had a really weak argument. But let's not get into that).

- He's not leaving the team. Even if he wants to, he can't do so until 09. This is just my theory, but maybe Kobe is bipolar. First he said he wants to leave, then he said that he wants to stay, then he was in some parking lot talking to himself and got caught on tape, and now he wants to stay again. Kobe's an awesome player, but the more I think about it, the more I suspect he is bipolar.

Kobe's not a ballhog anymore, and he's probably not a rapist either, and will never be one. But the thing is, once he leaves an image of himself in people's minds, it's hard to change that impression. Humans like to hold on to familiarity.

He's not leaving. Don't worry, you'll have 2 more seasons of him to watch. And maybe Kobe will find some anti-bipolar pills in 2 years ;)

if kobe does get traded i think he should go to chicago. i think he and shaq did a good job picking up where magic and kareem left off (while they were getting along). he says that magic johnson was his favorite player and thats why he loved the lakers so much. kobe and alot of other people (including myself) believe he could have a leagacy almost as good (not better) than michael jordan's, and since he is a fan of mj he should love playing for the bulls the same way he loved playing for l.a.. after kobe leaves l.a. the lakers should start building the team around andrew bynum by trading kobe for some young bench players that the bulls almost never use and start developing them. the lakers will rebuild and the bulls will resurrect, thats why i think its an awsome idea.!!! (plus im sure ben gordon wouldn't mind becoming the 6th man if it means winning)

haha I like that lakers suck nets rule, I am a nets fan but i dont hate the lakers nor kobe. He is one of my favorite players as well, im not sure why people hate him. For every great player you are going to have people that don't like him for some reason or another, you can't please everyone. I would love to see him traded to the T'wolves to team with Kevin Garnett that would be a killer team. There are still trade talks going on but they have died down since the draft. Go to Espn.com and then click on basketball and then on rumors and they always have the trade rumors that are going around.

They hate him because he isn't playing for their team. He's the best player in the league, and he torches every other team singlehandedly. Others hate him because of the rape allegations, even thought the charges were dropped because the girl didn't want to testify. And she had semen in her from numerous other men just hours before being with Kobe.

He said he wanted to be traded, preferably to the Bulls or Suns. He wanted to be traded because he felt Jerry Buss had lied to him when he signed him, saying that the Lakers would try their best to be a contender every year and get the players needed to do so. But they didn't. He backtracked at least twice, but the last time confirmed that he wanted to be traded. Then the Lakers, in efforts to keep Kobe in L.A., were involved in numerous trade talks that included Kevin Garnett in a 3 team deal, and rumors of Jermaine O'Neal coming there as well. Neither deal has really picked up any steam. The K.G. deal fell apart and it looked like K.G. would be headed th Phoenix instead, but that hasn't happened yet. As of now, anything is possible. Maybe Kobe does get traded, maybe someone gets traded to the Lakers, or maybe everything stays the same as it is right now.

People do not hate him because they are jealous of him or that he torches the other team. His team sucks and he doesn't help make his teammates any better by ripping them in the press. That family man act is B.S. while he is out raping women. Does anyone believe that is the only time he has cheated on his wife? I wouldn't want him on my team if he was playing for free. The guy sucks the life out of a franchise if things aren't going his way. Garnett's had a raw deal in Minnesota for years, but you don't hear him ripping his teammates or making trade demands. Kobe is a head case with a very dim view of reality and zero people skills. He did score 81 points in a meaningless game though.

Kobe wants to be traded, but then says otherwise.
There have been a whole bunch of rumors of Kobe being trade, but it will never happen.

Latest is that he has apologized to Mitch Kupchak for
the way things cameout. So he says he has not thought about
his trade demands, but I think the lakers have him under
contract for 2 more years, and he wants out but also knows
he may be here 2 years.
I think people don't like him because he is selfish and
does not pass the ball. he has blamed teammates like shaq,
bynam, malone, smush, and slamed the GM kupchak,
and called the owner Jerry Buss an Idiot (watch the kobe
tapes). Not to mention the rape in colorado, and his body
guard getting arrested for trying to put a hit on Kate Faber
when she came forward.
He has apologized to Kate Faber, and apologized to SHAQ
for things he has done. And now to Kupchak.

Probably the biggest reason people don't like him is that
he is not a mature person and keeps doing and saying
things that he has to apologize about later.

Everyone hates him because he is so good. Like him or not he is the best player right now and one of the best ever.
As far as getting traded; I doubt he's goin anywhere. He just apoligized to the organization last week so sounds like he wants to stay now, but we'll see.
