You have to have at least one to be legal. You can go to Walmart and buy one of those $3.00 clamp on bicycle mirrrors to keep trom getting a ticket but you actually need 2 good mirrors to be safe.

It's required to have at least one mirror on a motorcycle in order to pass your states inspection.
If your sisters BF gets pulled over by a cop, he can get a traffic fine (ticket), the same as if a car had a burned out tail light.
From the date of the traffic infraction (along with paying the ticket), he'll have 15 days to get his bike inspected at licensed motorcycle inspection station.
Failure to get the inspection, will revoke the bikes registration. and he'll be notified to surrender the license plate to the local DMV (department of motor vehicles).

You must have at least 1 to be legal. In the old days I've seen guy's mount a dental mirror to be legal although it is useless. I prefer 2 and sometimes that's not enough .

Probably not legal but You-Tube and Yahoo Answers are NOT the best sources for legal matters. Might want to refer to the Ind. DMV's web for the correct answer.

No way. You need atleast one mirror. He's a moron if he's riding like that. You need to know what's going on around you, especially on two wheels.

I believe you have to have at least one mirror in all states.

I wouldnt think its legal anywhere. he should have left one on at least so he could still have a partial rear view. he will ge tired of looking over his shoulder, get a ticket or get whacked.
