your not lying about lying so yes you are telling the truth but that doesn't make you an honest person

You are being truthful about the fact that you are lying. Hence, you are still lying about the initial subject, just being forthcoming about the fact that you are lying.

This is an old paradox. The other major one is time travel, i.e., "What happens if you go back in time and: 1) meet yourself, 2) kill your grandfather 3) stop an event from happening? Aren't paradoxes fun?
