Use refers to utility. Nothing is useless is true because
as far as I can tell everything has an effect on something
even if it isn't practical to my life. Is everything useful,
again, everything is a utility, but it might not be an
efficient or practical utility. If an individual could remember
every detail of every visual perception as if it could
be replayed like a movie then I think that the individual
would be inconvenienced by the sheer volume of
information which would need to be sorted out
to make sense of anything. Therefore, some utilities
aren't worth it; we interpret that which we perceive
and discard pieces which aren't useful(which doesn't
imply that we are capable of retaining everything
which is useful).

Yes, but it's all a matter of perspective to be able to percieve the series of causes and effects that would make a thing useful. If you cannot see it, to you and you alone, it will not have worth. Nature can use it (things) in ways you would never foresee.
But all things and people have exactly equal worth in the eyes of the universe because whole cause and effect chains can be put into motion by anything at anytime to evoke great change in their environments. It's all a matter of being at the right place at the right time with the right qualities. It doesn't matter what it is that has those qualities (the idea that a thing is separate from it's environment is laughable anyway, we only categorize for convenience of computation anyway), thus all things/people that exist are of equal value for they have infinitely unexplored chains of cause and effect that can evoke great change for better or worse at any time.
If you pay attention, however, and are mindful you can keep an eye out for great change you can start, but you must be willing to throw out your perspective for a new one many times to see how a thing can be implemented in different ways, like how light being cast on an object from different angles produces different shadows and illuminates previously unexplored features of the object. You can only have one perspective at a time, so don't get attached to it, thinking that it makes you "you", and exchange it many times to explore different possibilities you may be blinding yourself to. You always think you are right. Even when you think you are wrong, you think you are right about being wrong. This statement shows how we are in blinders when we accept a perspective, and that it is important to be willing to drop it to accept others so that we may see new unexplored features.

Who said nothing is useless? I can think of quite a few things that are useless. Something may be of use to someone else, but unless they have access to it, it's use is restricted to whoever does. To be of use, the thing has to be in the right place, at the right time, in the vicinity of the person who can use it, otherwise it might as well be a brass knob on a floorboard. (My Grandfather had one of these. It used to amuse him to see people get up enough curiosity to try it. It didn't work, or anything, but it's function was to make my Grandfather laugh. So at least to him, it wasn't useless.

There are several useless things, war, hatred, hypocricy, infidelity, and self doubt.
I find use in every other thing that I have come across in this life, but love is the most useful tool in my arsenal it overpowers all darkness and pervays light.
There are many things that have worth, but there are many that do not. I would go into detail, but with the millions of things of worth there is only one more worthy than any other...LOVE. That is my answer to everything, as love fuels war, it fuels passion, it breaks boundaries, warms souls, creates life, and overwhelms all senses. LOVE LOVE LOVE.
Blessings and love,
Sassy

everything is useful, can be for bad or good use. somebody's trash can be another person's treasure, so come to think of it, everything has its worth depending on a personal vista or perception. the only argument would be is if everything has great purpose or meaning. a lot of people who was able to come to terms with their frailties can assure you that even the most negative forces can bring enlightenment, that everything is just a matter of time and patience. and everything that is viewed with accepting eyes and a loving heart will always have worth, and that everything us useful in a hopeful's mind.

Nothing is useless....wrong-in my perspective. Everything is useful-wrong in my perspective. Does everything existence has worth? No.... Not drugs. And I do not mean medicine. I mean cigerettes, alchohol, cocaine...etc. All that stuff is useless. It is worth nothing but death.
