Does anyone know if you can rent out cedar point for a limited time or for the day and how much it costs?

You could probably get a group discount for tickets, and rent a picnic area for your group, but as far as renting the entire park, I don't know. IF it is something they allow, I think you would have to expect to pay upwards of several thousand to millions if you want them to shut the park down to the public just for your group.

I did find something on their site that's pretty interesting though. If you have the money to shell out, you can pay for VIP access to the park that gets you park tickets, front of the line access to the rides, 2 free on ride photos, front of the line access to food and shows, AND a personal CP escort. All this for the mere price of $400 per person.

I think if you are serious about renting the entire park, you'd have to call their marketing department or ticket sales department for info on that.

I know that Six Flags near Chicago has corporate outings where the park is rented out by a large corporation with thousands of employees. I don't think a person could afford to rent out an amusement park of that size, unless the person is someone like Oprah or Bill Gates. But you could always call Cedar Point to find out!
