Go to Control Panel, Internet Options. On the General tab there is a Browsing History with two buttons. One is Delete and the other is settings. Go to settings and change the number of days the history stores the websites you visit. The default is 20 but you can change that to as few days as you wish.

Mine doesn't have the delete browsing history in Tools so I always go to View and down to SideBar and then to History and then right click Delete the folders...

First delete all cookies by going to tools internet options then cookies. Then delete all temporary internet files by clicking the privacy tab then clicking delete all offline content. Then finally click the content tab and click delete autocomplete.

easy enough go to TOOLS then to INTERNET OPTIONS,then click on DELETE COOKIES an on DELETE FILES then to CLEAR HISTORY that should do what you need done

in IE7 (internet explorer 7). go into internet explorer properties and you will be able to delete history, temp, etc.

check to see if you have a tools button on your homeage , click on it and chose to delete the browser option

right click on tools, select browser options then you click clear URL and clear search. This will clear your browser history and searches.
