I understand how unlikely this is...
A friend of mine mentioned a book that he would love to have, he recently heard about it on a show (not sure if it was radio or television). He told me the name of the program, but I've forogtten it already. I remember it started with an "S" and it was a book about Jamestown. He didn't know the title.
Anyway, I'd love to surprise him with it for his birthday, if anyone has any clue what I'm talking about?
I know it's a long shot, but I just thought I'd try.

There is a book that just got published about Jamestown called 'Savage Kingdom'. It came out in April 2007.

It might be "Savage Kingdom: The True Story of Jamestown, 1607 and the Settlement of America" by Benjamin Woolley. It looks like this came out in April, 2007, so if he heard about it recently, this is probably it. It also seems to have gotten some good reviews.
There are a couple of other books about Jamestown that begin with an S, but they're older, and seem to be aimed at young adults.

Sounds like "Savage Kingdom" by Benjamin Woolley. This book just came out. Or maybe "The Jamestown Project" by Karen Kupperman which is even newer.
I've definitely been working at Barnes & Noble too much...

I don't know what it is, but you could probably find it if you went on the barnes and noble or borders website and searched "jamestown"

if you are talking about the jamestown massicure then try going to www.bamm.com might have the book use the search engine its good
