depending on where you live and eat i may agree ,,,u say u were a chef so that may have something to do with it ,,,,i like home cooked because I'm in east Texas where if u like BBQ there's some very good stuff here BUT how much can u eat ,,,i grew up in NYC area and enjoyed eating out now not really McDonald's is cuisine here BUT I'm retiring penang Malay where the food is diversified and excellent

may i disagree with you? ^_^ actually having a meal outside it fun cause your changing your routine and having fun with friends and all but food at home is better cause you know what you are cooking ...you know it suits your taste cause you picked it out yourself rather than choosing something from the menu you don't know what it tastes like next thing you regret choosing it and find your self full and not wanting more ..but of cause in every case there is an exception :)

Correction 'why does it always taste better when somebody else makes it', because you got to sit on your ars3 watching it being prepared, made and dished out with out havin to move a finger.

Being cooked for, and waited on, makes it better for me since I'm the cook, waitress, and dishwasher at home!

because youve not had to cook it x whilst cooking you are sublimely thinking about the clearing away x the washing up x the putting away x the time taken from your precious leisure to prepare everything x

Because for one thing, your feet aren't aching from standing over the stove for an hour, and another is that you don't have to think about doing the dishes after your meal is over. Sounds great to me.

cuz it is cooked betta than u wud cook it at home
and ur also payin 4 it
cuz at home ur oven might not make it taste da same cuz it might not b cookied properly
