it depends. See normally people will say no. But just put them in a dark road at the middle of the night with no light or person what so ever. They will be SCARED of any other person that's walking behind them, or just crossed them, or lookin at them!
or think about a mad person in a public transportation, i bet a lot of people will be afraid of him/her.
So, as i said it depends, for me at least.

Yeah I'm afraid of what my father would do...thank GOD my step dad came a long!!!
I'm also afraid of my stepbrother who turned my mom into the police for child abuse even though she doesn't beat on us. The police said we are in danger with all the lies he was doing.
