Usually I don't. But that's because the topic they're trying to sell has nothing to do with what made them famous. I couldn't sleep last night and had the TV on. I was watching an apparently world famous (I've never heard of him) marathon runner selling a mattress. How does a runner have any expertise in a mattress??
If say, Jimmy Page were selling guitars or amplifiers, I'd be interested. But when movie stars are selling kitchen appliances, I fell sorry for them. They've lost all their money and can't get a role anywhere else so their doing this to survive.

No. I seen something on t.v. once about that and they said, most celebrities that do those advertisements never tried the products. They are good actors. The one that really gets me is the serta sleeper mattress advertisement.

I don't mistrust what they are saying ... But mainly they are doing those commercials for the money, not because they like the product. ;-)
