I just installed Win XP 64-bit onto my new system. It containsa Geforce 8800 GTS PCIE video card. There is two DVI ports on the back to allow me to view 2 displays however i would like to have 3 displays.

I plugged in my 3DFX Voodoo3 PCI card expecting XP/64 to recognize it but it doesnt (it attempts to use Standard VGA but still fails to start it). I'm guessing it has to do with having a 64-bit driver rather than the new hardware setup. The videocard worked in my old XP/32-bit box.

Anyone knwo where to get a display driver that will work with this video card?

keep in mind, basically because of the fact something has a greater selection it no longer advise it extra useful. constantly learn application and hardward to nicely known what it compatiable with. XP sixty 4 is customary whilst it is day comes, yet, for now XP 32 is in it is day and this what maximum application and hardware cater to. one ingredient sturdy approximately Microbutt, they use the buyer to develop their application. you will see this with Vista. Now as Vista turns into avaliable those that prefer to be first in line will run out to purchase. Watch here on solutions for the subject concerns they be attempting to restoration in a pair of week. Microbutt will use their Headache to restoration the bugs and then "optimistically" in approximately 6 months there will be a SP1 to restoration each and every of the easy issues, basically like we seen with XP. SP2 will persist with in time and Vista be a sturdy OS. Heck, many hardware and application businesses no longer have their Vista enhancements waiting, a lot of human beings going to load Vista on an exsisting equipment basically to discover there no longer a driving force they like for something to artwork. New structures will artwork, yet, notice of extra application & hardware except it say it help Vista. yet, XP sixty 4 bit became right into a play on a push for hardware and application businesses to alter to a sixty 4 bit platform and it no longer artwork for the Microbutt. actual some large firms use it as they oftentimes purchase particular classes, or have a programer and of course they purchase Microbutt application that has sixty 4 bit help.
