getting fresh cold air from a fan or a cool breeze from the ocean (if you live near one) is way different than the cold air you get from a winter's day. during the winter you have to dress up with really warm layers of clothing. ok, i just confused myself =/

Extremes in temperature of too hot or too cold cause physical discomfort as the body has to adjust to it.
