I have never tried this. I tried with line paper before with some old Appolo printer and worked perfectly. If you have fast printers, it wouldn't be a great idea. I recently purchaced a new HP printer and tried with line paper. It jammed as soon as the paper start entering the printer.Tracing paper is kind of the same thickness as line paper or lighter so it is not a good idea... However if you somehow have tracing paper as thick as print paper (clear ones), it should work!

Tracing paper is too thin and crinkly for printers.
Most printers will quote a max and MIN thickness for paper. IF you can find a thicker, but semi tranparent paper, it MIGHT be OK. . . . but make sure it's OK for your TYPE of printer (laser or inkjet)
