What do you guys think came first? The chicken or the egg?

I think the chicken came first because if the T-Rex laid a bad egg it probably came out as a dinosaur chicken then evolved from there. What do you guys think?

The egg: insects, fish, amphibians, reptiles, early birds and even monotremes (egg-laying mammals) all appeared and started laying eggs before the chicken did.

you didn't say if it was a chicken egg or a regular egg so u can easily say that the egg came first became insects lay egg.But about a month ago in the newspaper they said the chicken came first(this answer was given by a specialist in that area of study) with it want i think became chicken are related to the dinosaur with probably evolved over time.

This is not a difficult question, nor one that should be asked as frequently as it is. The chicken came first. The very first organisms that qualified as a chicken was a slight mutation of something that was not a chicken. The non-chicken parent laid a non-chicken egg, but the embryo inside experienced a mutation, and became a chicken. Hence the first chicken hatched from a non-chicken egg.
