when somebody says that they feel alive?
How can you really know?

It depends on what was going on when he made the statement. Did the person say it in a moment of passion? or was the person having such a fabulous day that everything was clicking and they made the comment?
I've heard people say that they "felt alive" after escaping possible tragedy or death. Ironically, I've heard it when people were in love and finally realized it too. Regardless, it 's a great feeling!

They feel alive...like high on life...really happy or excited.
How can you really know that they're alive? They tell you they feel alive...and if they don't say that, well, if they're not breathing, then you should worry.

Isn't that the opposite of feeling dead? Well it's hard to FEEL dead cause then you don't FEEL anything technically....right? Oh sorry, just had to be a smart elec. Anyways it means that you are happy, that you fell free to do whatever you like whenever you like and you don't feel restricted or tied down. Which you and I should be feeling right now without a boyfriend. LOL

i think it means that they are really very happy and have a found a new reason to want to stay alive.

I thinks when they say that. It means they feel good or they have full of energy!!!! You just have to believe them!

They are happy or overjoyed about something, or they are full of energy. Well, they could be drunk, too.
