I don't tan. I don't really care if my man is tan either. Personally, I think it looks better being pale than having a really dark, fake looking tan. Not to mention how bad it is for you skin.

Pale. Tan just means someone is too stupid to know that the sun damages their skin

I actually prefer people who look like they have gotten just a little bit of sun. Not totally tan just those who look like they have been outside. Totally tan is so unhealthy and honestly it looks bad. People who are super pale remind me of people who avoid the day time all together. So just a little color does alot!!

Both! Pale skin is pretty (and is complemented by silver) Tan skin is also pretty, but if you want it use a bronzer; you don't want skin cancer! Be careful though, don't go overboard. Search too tanned celebs (lol)

i have really pale skin and i always go to the beach to work on my tan. i prefer tan skin on me because my makeup blends in better. it all depends on if you really want to get tan.

The pale porcelain looking skin like Dita Von Teese... its sooo pretty but tan can be nice too

I prefer tanned BUT natural tan.

Fake tan that's streaky and orange looks like crap!
If the fake tan looks good.. fair play =)

I like brown skin if it is natural--like in Filipinos and Latinos. But in white people, I prefer to see them either white or slightly tanned. When white people over-tan, they look strange.
