You have to tell him straight up that it can never be for you two, so this way he can move on and find someone who will love him. Either way if you continue to allow him in your life it will give him hope and break his heart, so it is better to let go now and so he can heal. He will get it over it. He's hanging on to hope and that in itself isn't good. Sometimes we try not to hurt their feelings, but in this case it is better to get it over with.

Take a deep breath and go tell him. For his own benefit, he should know how you feel, because in all honesty he is being taken 'for a ride', as he is under the impression that his feelings of love for you are reciprocated. He is under the false impression that everything is great in the relationship when actually it is a sham and a shambles.

Also from your own perspective, this relationship is not fair either, as you are kidding him and kidding yourself. Better to get it over with now and tell him than carry on pretending and bear that big grudge...

Never be so shallow as to sell your marriage, and wedding night to someone you dont like for a few coins of pity.

Be excellent. Be noble and gentle. Be valorous.

It is worse to lead somebody on. He got no job and cannot provide stability. That is a good enough reason.

You are being kind to tell him that you cannot return his feelings. That way, he can move on and find another woman to love.

trust me, he will survive...even the loss of you. Don't take his future onto your shoulders, dear...he has no idea what he is saying, and you will be surprised at how quickly he recovers...give him about 24 hours, and he will be out with the newest, latest version of love 10.8

Tell him no. If you marry him, you won't be happy.
