If I have asked a silly question, an amusing answer will do it.
Otherwise if the answer is what sounds like a good answer and it is spelled correctly. A little humor never hurts, either.

Depends. Sometimes it is the humour.
Sometimes it is how serious and well thought out the answer is.
Also the length... some people just go on (or simply "quote" an entire web article when they could just post a link), and it gets tiring reading after a while.
