just a quick estimate.. the place is about 600 sq ft. and if you have it, is it a good investment? thanks!!

in an old house it costs way more than a new one cause there aren't any open walls for the piping,it's ok,but not the most powerful,and the hoses can clog,you have to keep the filter clean,and don't suck up anything big enough to clog the piping or you'll have a big repair bill.i've been building 25 years,i always reccomend NOT to get it,but some folks like carrying just a hose around instead of a vacum

As stated, more problems than it's worth. It is not a good "investment". To install one in an existing home would be big bucks.
