Kingda Ka at Six Flags Great Adventure, Standing at 456 Feet, Formerly, The old holder was Top Thrill Dragsterat Cedar Point, Stanging at 418 Feet. Both are fun rides!
Highest off the ground is in Las Vegas, the one ontop of the Stratosphere Tower/Hotel

That will get you into the debate of "how do you measure tallest?" At one point, the one with the greatest fall from high point to low point actually went down below ground level to do it, so people who thought the thrill came from getting high off the ground thought that was cheating and credited another with greatest peak height. Then there is the one on Las Vega that runs around the top of a hotel.

listen to me, not the others. haha..
top thrill dragster in cedar point, ohio.. used to be the highest.
they made a ride in six flags, new jersey..kingda ka. that is currently the highest roller coaster and the fastest.
