is having your companies name or logo drawn or shaved into animals , i.e. dogs , cats , horses , giraffes , camels , donkeys , chinchillas ....... a good why to get your message across to your targeted audience ????

Before you can determine if a strategy is any good, you need to know - who is your audience? Are they likely to be looking at chinchillas and giraffes on a regular basis, and if so, are they likely to need or want the product advertised? Is your audience likely to think, "hmmm, I DID see that product logo shaved on a camel, so maybe I should try it?" If your total goal is to get attention, perhaps this could work, but only on a limited basis, and for a limited audience.

I suppose it depends on the animal in question. Think if I started up a business I'd like a sponsored giraffe, but not keen on that target audience. A tortoise would just bore everyone too death, whilst a whippet might have it's own shortcomings.
