Sweetie, I encourage you to continue in school. I know it's hard. I know it hurts you to get punished. So just do your homework. Do you need help with your homework? Ask the counselor at your school to get someone to help you.
In school, everyone has to finish their homework and their class work. If you don't want to do it, you won't be able to get a good job.
School is just like a job. At a job, you also have to finish your work and complete the assignments the boss gives you.
Please stay in school and get a diploma. It will help you, I promise. If you are having trouble, please ask for help.
Take care. :-)

Wait a minute...you didn't do the work and expected not to get punished. That's a little naive. Age has very little to with this situation. I'm 23 and have been teaching for two years with a college degree and age has never been an issue for any of my senior students. If anything it has been a godsend.
Teachers have one job and that's to prepare students (even 18yr old students) for the real world. When you get a job and refuse to do the work when your suppose to your going to get fired. So not doing class work and getting punished is the exact same situation. Homework follows the same ideology. When you get a descent salary position sometimes you have to take work home with you to meet a deadline is your boss going to appreciate you coming in a saying "I just didn't feel like doing it" once again you might just get fired.
You may not see the rationale behind class work or homework or other "little reasons" but as a teacher I can assure the reason is most likely sound. Even if you think I'm full of it here some facts that you need to know before you decide to quit school.
Non High School Diploma means you'll make about 18k a year
High School Diploma means you'll make about 25k a year
College degree 35k or more (depending on profession)
Quitting school might be the worst financial decision you'll ever make because some teacher punished you for not doing what your suppose to. Grow up a bit and just get it done and you'll have no regrets 5yrs down the road.

Someone said you need a masters degree to teach high school. You don't, unless some states have that requirement. So you could be a teacher at 21 or 22. The age of the teacher has nothing to do with punishment, or not doing your work. If she let you not do your homework or classwork, then she would be a bad teacher, no matter what age she is. In the real world, you may have bosses who are younger than you. It makes no difference. It sounds to me, and please forgive me if I'm generalizing, that you are looking to not do your work, and are looking to quit school, and are using her age and her punishments as a reason. Please don't do that. Trust me, you will regret it, and regret is a very horrible thing to live with.

It sounds like you are looking for excuses and someone to blame for your poor choices. Your question, poor grammar and all, suggests why she is the teacher and you are the student. It also shows your extreme immaturity.
Suck it up. Go back to school. You need an education. Do your work and you won't be punished or humiliated.

maybe she is preparing you for the real world and let you become who you want to be in this comppetitive world these days.
Listen kid, dont quit studying or school because thats the only important valuable thing you will always have no matter what. as a famous person once said,,,,,"education is our greatest investment"
and by the way she is punishing you for your own sake and life, which will help later on in life when you get your dream job or work

In order to teach she would have had to go to college to get her degree, then in order to teach High School, she would have to get her Master's. This makes her at least 24. If your so irresponsible as to not do your homework, and class work, then why shouldn't she punish you. You just wanted to quit and your using this teacher as the excuse. Now you can work at Mc'Donalds the rest of your miserable life!

Instead -- why don't you stop whining and try doing the work. This is your fault for not doing the work -- not hers.
Do you think things would be better if you quit school? Do you think your bosses won't complain when you don't do what you are supposed to do at work? Do you think you will be able to get a decent job without an education?
Grow up and take responsibility for your own actions.
