I beleive in a Strong Defense. I am not going to rush off to war, but I support Gun Rights because this is a person's liberty and freedom to own a gun. It has nothing to do with how I "feel". This is their right.

I am very much in favor of environmental issues. This is a personal option as well, and this is also the overall consensus of a majority of people on all sides of the political spectrum. I would be in favor of the auto-industry working towards lowering emissions, and innovative ways to improve overall gas mileage, and car effieciency.

I like Gulliani, and would support him in 2008. For Democrats, I like Joe Biden because of his plans for Iraq, Darfur, Afgantistan, and relations with Iran.

I am in favor of Gays serving openly in the military. A majority of gay people who already serve opnely in the military state that nobody cares and that's it a non-issue. And, that the media sensationalizes this issue. So, I am in favor of gay's serving openly in the military.

Leon, you're my bro, and no vote? That's fine. :(
Stem Cell Research is extremely viable, especially embryonic stemm cell research. These eggs will be tossed down medical disposals if they are not used. Put these eggs to good use. These stem cells hold vast possiblity for cures in cancer, AIDS, diabetes, Parkinson's, etc. This research also creates jobs, and makes us the medical powerhouse we have always been instead of people having to go to Mexico, or Europe to have this procedure done. It is selfish to allow sick people an opportunity. I cannot in good conscience allow people not at least one chance at hope to possibly be able to walk again.
Abortion is a personal right of woman and the government should stay out the woman's uterous regardless of how I feel on the issue. The government cannot dictate to women what is "life" and what is "not life". It's place is to act as a Government not a moral authority.
I have examine further into privitised education.

As far as welfare, I do not feel that people who are capable of getting jobs should rely on government assitance. That's ridiculous. These are people who simply do not want to work. It has nothing to do with emotional, physical, or mental incapablities of these people.
If they choose assitance, then it will be a timed process with regards they can only use it for a specific time, and then, I'm sorry, you need to get a job. Working sucks, yes, everybody hates working, but don't take advantage of the system for people who genuinely and honestly need help. There are people who abuse the process.

As far as illegal immigration, there are many people who are illegally. Crime in some cities has increased due to illegal immigration. I think that's a shame.
I am in favor of a legal and thourogh process of immigrants coming into this country. The problem with that also stems from the fact we have immigratsn who come into this country who hate this country and bomb our cities. Regardless if they are legal or not. If you hate this country, fine, use your freedom to dissent which is the most patriotic thing an American can do. Don't cause havoc.
Yes, I am a strong supporter or stricter imigration laws only because we are at war, and we have extremists who violently despise this country. If we never attacked, then I may feel differently, and I also feel a lot more people would as well. I am sorry for those who have great skills and talents that they can bring to the American work force, but there still should be stricter policies. This needs to be looked into more rationally.

Could do worse . Depends on the opposition . You could undo any possible good of the other positions, with the privitization of education .
Initially privitization was a means to an end, that is , the same service at a lower cost. As we've repeatedly seen , when you add politics to it, we get higher cost , & a worse result, that serves the agenda of the service-provider & it's political/ campaigner donor backing , & not the public interest .
To do this to education is stomach-turning . That situation exists in places such as Pakistan, with a result that much of the population receives little or no education . That's less likely here, but a Corporate-Clone education is . That is, anything that is inconvenient for the administering company gets left out, or spun. Independent thought would be discouraged, & occasionally , actively stifled. No thanks.
Flat tax? For many, especially at the lower end, that would mean higher taxes . The rosy-scenario proponents suggest 16-18%, but more objective/realistic studies come up with 22-25% .
We don't need more immigration crap. Just start checking Soc.Sec. #s . Most illegals are getting by on fake #s.NY state did that, through DMV, after Sept 11th. Did find a lot . Most left before being caught ( those that needed to drive) One problem though, if you do succeed , you have to come up with ~ another $7B /yr in SSI ( + all the payroll taxes)
All-in-all you're OK . Don't have any secret invasion plans, of country __xxxxx , do you? ;D

Well bro, I hope you don't mind my opinions but here I go. When it comes to guns, I think it should become unconstitutional for regular people to buy guns. Immigration laws are strict as it is. I know people who have applied legally and have been waiting for years to even be considered for citizenship. Illegal immigration is illegal but I think we should reform the process not make it stricter. Pro military is something that unfortunately we will have to maintain although the 300 billion we spend in that department a year could feed a lot of starving children. Gay people are entitled to their rights, after all the constitution doesn't ban sexual orientation. I'm not christian or anything but I think abortion is wrong. Stem cell research is a load of hooey! We don't need to kill babies to keep old sick people alive. With the life expectancy getting ready to boom, the earth wont be able to sustain us. Let disease and life take its course people. Low taxes is easier said than done. It costs alot of money to be a pro military nation. Privatized welfare and education may be risky. With no universal regulations, many peoples rights might be violated. And pro environment is definitely a must. I'd say you should create a new party and run as that but to answer your question, no, I would not vote for you.

I pretty much agree with you except on education and immigration. I do not think our education system is perfect, but I know firsthand that those who want an education can get one.
You are a moderate Republican and probably should vote for Giuliani in the 2008 Presidential primaries.

No - the answers to these problems are not a thumbnail even if the neocoms think so. Some are complicated and possibly beyond your comprehension.
For instance, Have you ever heard a politician say he is against the environment?
How do you feel about gays in the military?
Privatised education? No public schools? huh?

I might. I disagree with you on gun rights and military - these things will not help any country to become peaceful - and also on privatised education, I think that makes a country too disorganised. I do mostly agree with the rest, though, but altogether just not lefty enough for me :-).
