Please open My computer
Note the total space and free space in each Directory.
Presume now Vista is in directory C:/Windows.
Try this program in this order E ,D, then C::
DiskSweeper free 2 from http://www.craveworldwide.com/disksweep.zip
After clearing the recycle bin check free space again.
If satisfied that only unwanted files are being removed run in C: also. With the files in Recycle bin check computer operation.
I am using this program often without any problem.
( I am using XP Pro Sp2 )

Use the disk cleanup program to delete non required files. Also try uninstalling unnessary programs.

y did u upgrade to vista from xp ? the computer will be so messed up. format the dive and reinstall xp.

what kind of laptop u have.
most computer hard disk Local C:\
recovery Disk LOcal D:\
Drive E , u have external hard disk or usb pendrive.
