I think Gabriel is a beautiful name, its angelic and it means God is my might. Even if you arent religious it doesnt do any harm to get extra help from anywhere you can get it!

Yes, I think that it is a pretty name but it should be spelt Gabrielle. Gabriel is the male version of the name. Look at it this way, on the first day of school when the teacher is taking attendance and calls "Gabriel" she/he won't believe it's a girl. But, Gabrielle and Gaby is really beautiful.

If you choose that name, it's spelled Gabrielle, or else it's pronounced like the boy's name Gabriel. My son is named Gabriel, and this is apparently a unisex name, but pronounced and spelled differently. Gabriel was a male in the bible, so originally it was a boys name. I personally only considered this name for a boy, Gaby is cute but not that cute, and I've never been to fond of how Gabrielle actually sounds either. Weird, I know cause the boys/girls pronunciation isnt much different, but I prefer it much more for a boy

Very pretty. Gabriel is actually the male spelling. You may want to add another "l" or "le" to make it feminine. My sons name is Gabriel. When we found out we were having a girl the second time around, we contemplated naming her Gabrielle because we couldn't think of any good girl names. I liked the idea of calling them Gabe and Gabby. lol Then we realized it was just much too similar and would get confusing for them in school (They aren't even 2 years apart). We named her Alyssa. lol

Gabriel is good for a boy, for a girl I'd much rather have Gabriella or Gabrielle. Gabby is a very likely nickname.
