A lot of people are under the assumption that mac do not have any viruses attacking them. This is incorrect. You can check out the list of viruses attacking Mac not just WinMacs but Mac OS
http://antivirus.about.com/od/macintoshresource/Macintosh_Viruses_and_Mac_Virus_Resources.htm Check out Ingtana.A Worm. This site also rates antivirus programs for MACS

Since Macs are now built on the PC architecture, (there's no more real Macs, in spite of those successful & entertaining PC/Mac commercials!). Any program that works well for the PC will work well for the Mac. The best one out there, (in this PC tech's opinion, and experience) is Trend Micro's PC Cillin, internet security 2007. Just be sure in downloading the right one (Mac OS, not XP or Linux). It has a yearly subscription service, updates daily (sometimes several times daily!) and is the ultimate in total one stop protection, as can be had. www.trendmicro.com. At last check, trend micro was used at more businesses, and government agencies than all others combined... including Dell, a top PC manufacturer.

I hope this helped!

You don't need to have anti-virus software for Mac OS X because there aren't any viruses. Most anti-virus software that runs on Mac OS X simply filters Microsoft viruses.

NOD32 offers the best protection overall. Its scans are much more thorough than any other program.

NOTHING!!!

There are currently NO known malware threats for Mac OS X in the wild.

Note, If you decide to install WinDOZE, you will need malware tools for it.
