why is it that you always go for the light skinned girl or the white girl before you even look in the direction of a dark skinned girl?

I have seen this alot too, but ya know what they say "the darker the berry, the sweeter the juice"

i have to say i have notice the preference in Hollywood and the music industries. some of our top actors, singers, models, etc have been light skin, hair and/or eyes.
i always felt in the entertainment industry, if they had to pick a black person for a role or something, they would pick someone who is light. just to cater to white people more.
i was told this by someone in the entertainment business.
this is what I've noticed where i live. light skinned women are usually with other light skinned men, dark skinned men are usually with white women, and dark skinned women are usually with white men.
now, this is not every black person in my area, it is just something i noticed a lot of. i don't know why it's like that, but it is!

um I guess I'm not a "brother" but I am black.
A guy can go for whoever he thinks is attractive. In society the "light skinned" black girl is considered more desirable. Just like how some whites don't think being pale is pretty and go get tans.
I'm sure there are many guys out there who like dark skinned girls.
And there are several dark skinnned models by the way.

I don't. I want a black woman darker than me. Light-skinned black women are too close to white for me. If I want light skinned I would rather have a white girl. That's my opinion.

Some have been brainwashed, others it is just a preference. However dark skinned women are still getting love

I like em all personally. I think a deep dark hue can be just as appealing as a "red bone".
I like women of all types, not all sizes, but all types.
