Yes, Firefox is excellent. I use it all the time and only go to IE for those few sites (mainly Banks and Microsoft, of course!) that insist on it.
Download the latest version at the link below - oh, and yes, it is free.

Oh, most definitely. I had Internet explorer for the longest time, and always got pop ups and viruses. Now that I have Firefox I rarely if ever get any pop ups or viruses on my computer. Plus, you can download a lot of cool things for it for free.

greater proper wherein way? Firefox works fairly lots, yet is a reminiscence hog. It has an incredible form of non-compulsory plug-ins you need to use - like NoScript that can help discover and block malicious web pages from infecting your pc with viruses or malware. Chrome is particularly rapid and helps each and every of the main plugins, like Flash and such, yet isn't as versatile Firefox. it truly is greater shelter than Firefox, yet in basic terms because of the fact human beings have not been attempting to hack Chrome yet (it truly is nonetheless particularly new, and not as accepted.) internet Explorer - even in spite of each and everything those years - nonetheless thinks that's a good thought to allow random web pages to run random products of code on your pc without your knowlege or permission. regrettably you are able to no longer delete internet Explorer. it truly is truly portion of the working equipment. in basic terms go away it on my own. do no longer delete it, and don't use it. once you run Firefox or Chrome, you are able to configure them to be your default browser. this potential in case you click on a link in e mail, it will launch Firefox (or Chrome) and not internet Explorer. I run the two Firefox and Chrome. Firefox continues to be my significant browser yet Chrome is immediately catching up.

Base from my own experiences, firefox is way better than IE.
What I like most about firefox is that it can restore sessions. So if your pc suddenly shut down while you're in the middle of a very important Internet surfing, firefox can restore that interrupted session for you.
Try firefox!

I use firefox. I recommend it. Keep Explorer on your desktop as a backup though, as some sites (Netflix Instant Viewer, Quickbooks Online) are incompatible with FireFox.
