how do i know if my best friend and his gf are lying to me?

seems like they are lying to me...becuz when i was talking to my friend's gf who is like a sister to me on the phone she said shell call me back after she talks to her mom, then when i called my friend he wanted to hang up right away....so i tried calling both of them again they both never answered, then his gf calls me back like 1 hour later and says hold on and all that stuf and told me shell call me back when she never did.....so im guessing that they were tryna lie to me about doing something else so they can talk to each other and not make me feel bad

Get a life of your own. Bfs & gfs should be able to spend time together without interruption and without having to explain to you.

You should simply butt out....

Okay.. And that's a bad thing because? They're a boyfriend nd girlfriend.. Of course they'll talk on the phone.. They didn';t want to hurt ur feelings so they made up some excuses.. Izz kool...
