a collague (sp?) full of pictures. I'm gonna buy the poster and make doubles of the photos and stuff like that. Do you think it's selfish of me to put "by Jennifer" or should I put my parents names too? I mean I doing the whole poster..they are not helping.

It's OK, just as long as it is not obtrusive

Does it matter?

Do you want to honor & commemorate your grandpa, or do you want to showing off & bragging yourself?
Why don't you put your family name instead your own name?
Why don't you put all of your grandpa's decendant, so that your grandpa can be proud of his family? Isn't it also make you and your entire family proud?

This is not about being selfish or not. This is about doing the right thing.

I have transcoded my family's lineage sequence. From my late grandpa's handwritting into digital form, I spreadt it to other family members, and I don't even put my initials.

PS: I am so sorry for your lost. May God bless him rest in peace.

no putting only your name isn't selfish at all. after all you're the one making a collague in the memory of you grandpa. if they aren't helping and you're the one putting all of your hard work and effort into it then you should put your name. after all you're the one doing this for your grandpa.

P.S. I;'m sorry that he passed away. I hope you feel better.

well, it is collage*, just so you know, and NO, it is not selfish at all to put 'By Jennifer" on the poster. YOU created because you care about him and you should take credit for any work you ever do. It's not to say that your parents didnt love him as well, but this is YOUR project, so take credit for it.

If this is something that you decided to do to honor your grandfather, then there is nothing wrong with signing you name to it. If this was supposed to be a family project, then everyone's name should be on it.
Instead of just putting your name on it you could also give the collage a title as well. My heartfelt sympathies to you and your family

You don't really NEED to put your name, but if it makes you feel better, you really should just put your own name. That's like having your parents for partners on a report, and you doing the whole report, getting THEM a good grade.

May your grandpa rest in peace! But what is the connection between his demise and your making a poster?

There is no reason for you to have to put your parents name on it. But if you wanted to you could put by the Family of __________. Or you could not put anyone's name on it, just title it loving memories of grandpa

No, it's not selfish. It's a nice thing you're doing and something the whole family can enjoy.

The person that is doing the collage should have their name as the credits posted on it.. and if someone helps you then you can put their names on there as well.
