Ah!! this is a cool question, it might sound like my house is not a home but when my kids are toddler, they do not have no say when it comes to cleaning, cooking or what show to watch, and now that they're all teenagers that I adore and love I let them decide what is what, who is who and at the same time be there to be the judge. So I will say my 3 beautiful children.
Sounds weird but that's the only way they will learn responsibilities when they have their own life in the future. I still have the last say but I love it when those 3 are making points. And I'm proud of it......thanks!!

My husband and I team up. Many decisions are family-based, with everyone having the right to an opinion or being able to state their case, but when it comes to the bottom-line, my husband and I share the responsibility. If we cannot agree, then the decision takes longer. The pets don't have much say at all, but we do have to take good care of them. The kid has responsibility based on his ability to handle it, but again, when it comes down the bottom line, the parents have to make the decisions in regard to health and safety even if it is not a popular decision.

Ha ha!!! My kids and my 7 dogs!!
We team up on most of the decisions. But there are things that I always make the decisions for and there are things that he decides. This has changed over the years because one of us will be better at something than the other one..

If you have the least bit of smarts going into a marriage, then everything is decided together by husband and wife. No body is declared a boss. The term boss in a marriage refers to one being superior to the other and should not be recognized as such.

Definitely my youngest cat, Idapuss. She is a beautiful Maine Coon, and is the queen. Once her desires have been catered to, she allows my husband and I to be joint boss of the rest of the household.
