yes it can as each are competing with each other for bandwidth.

It depends on the router, usually it won't slow down the speed. The router is much higher level machine giving allocated time-bandwidth to users. If only two pc's then it's nothing, you will not get a speed difference but if you had large number of pc's more than 50 then u will get difference.

They won't slow each other down per-se, but they will have to compete for the available network bandwidth on the other side of the wireless router.

Not really unless 1 PC downloads huge amount files then yes.
Otherwise it won't be an issue. I have 6 PCs home who share the same router resources & I have never noticed any slow down..

If they are both just surfing the net and doing regular stuff they will not slow down dramatically. The only way you could say it would slow down its if one of them is downloading huge files or a lot of smaller files at the same time. But other than that they will be fine.

not the computer its self, how ever it will slow don the Internet connection if the other computer is hogging all the bandwidth, IE if the other comp is say running limewire, or some other file sharing app

If you're on a laptop just move closer to the physical location of the router. VOILA~! You will have better speed. Also you can add "repeaters" in the building.

Yes, it slows down it.
Infact if you are saharing the two computers to tranfer the files only then it's okay, if you are sharing internet then it will certainly slows down it.

It can. It would depend on the amount of bandwidth that you are reeving. The more system that are tapping the bandwidth, the slower things are gona' go.
